The Baltimore Ravens have agreed to trade for Roquan Smith from the Baltimore Ravens for a second rounder and fifth rounder.

Smith has been second-team All-Pro in each of the past two seasons. Smith requested a trade from the Bears before the start of the season after they were unable to agree to an extension.

The Bears selected Smith with the eighth overall pick in the 2018 draft.

The Los Angeles Rams are not planning to part ways with Cam Akers if they are unable to trade the third-year running back, sources told ESPN.

The Rams would find a trade partner for Akers in a perfect world, according to sources, but they also recognize that he can still help them this season.

Therefore, if Akers is not dealt before Tuesday's NFL trade deadline, he is expected to return to the Rams and play for them again this season, sources said.

The San Francisco 49ers have received calls on running back Jeff Wilson and are willing to listen to potential offers, sources told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler on Friday.

Wilson ranks 11th in the NFL in rushing with 454 yards, but San Francisco has a crowded backfield with the arrival of Christian McCaffrey and Elijah Mitchell close to returning from injury.

The Kansas City Chiefs have acquired Kadarius Toney from the New York Giants for a conditional third round pick and a sixth round pick.

Toney has missed the past five games due to hamstring injuries.

Drafted in the first round by the Giants in the 2021 draft, Toney has two catches for zero yards this season. 

The Philadelphia Eagles have traded for Robert Quinn from the Chicago Bears for a fourth round pick.

Quinn joined the Bears in 2020 on a five-year, $70 million contract. Last season, Quinn was selected to his first Pro Bowl.

The Buffalo Bills, Denver Broncos and Philadelphia Eagles all inquired with the Carolina Panthers about a trade for Christian McCaffrey before he was dealt last week, according to a report.

Carolina traded McCaffrey to the San Francisco 49ers for a second-round pick, third-round pick and fourth-round pick in 2023, plus a fifth-round pick in 2024.

Of the Bills, Broncos and Eagles, Buffalo is believed to have been the most aggressive in pursuit of the running back.

With the NFL trade deadline next week, the Cleveland Browns are listening to offers for Kareem Hunt and Greedy Williams.

Hunt, who was the subject of trade rumors this offseason, informed the Browns in August that he was seeking a contract extension. The running back sat out some team drills and there were conflicting reports about whether or not he asked for a trade and if the Browns had interest in moving him.

Williams, a second-round pick in 2019, has played in just two games this season due to a hamstring injury.

The New York Jets have acquired James Robinson from the Jacksonville Jaguars for draft picks, according to sources.

The Jets will send a 2023 conditional sixth-round pick to the Jaguars, which becomes a fifth-rounder if Robinson rushes for 600 yards this season, according to the report. Robinson has already rushed for 340 yards in 2022.

New York moved quickly on Monday after losing rookie Breece Hall to a torn ACL in Sunday's win over the Denver Broncos.

Robinson is in the final year of his rookie contract and saw no touches in Week 7 as the Jaguars featured Travis Etienne.

A number of teams have called the Houston Texans about possible trades for Brandin Cooks, according to a report.

Cooks has been traded three times in his career and would tie Eric Dickerson for the most trades in one career if moved again.

The wide receiver is coming off back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons. He signed a two-year contract extension in April worth just shy of $40 million with $36 million guaranteed. He's under contract through 2024.

Coming off the Christian McCaffrey trade, the Carolina Panthers turned down what would have been another blockbuster move.

According to a report, the Panthers were offered two first-round picks for defensive end Brian Burns.

Burns is viewed as the cornerstone of Carolina's defense. The 16th overall pick in 2019, he has nine sacks in each of the past two seasons.
